I hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the past few months and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same: my commitment to your safety.

Infection control has always been a top priority in my practice. My infection control processes are created so that when you receive care, it's both safe and comfortable. I want to tell you about some infection control procedures we follow in the practice to keep patients and team members safe.

My office follows infection control recommendations made by the American Dental Association (ADA), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA). We follow the activities of these agencies so that we are current with any new rulings or guidance that have been issued. We do this to ensure that our infection control procedures are up-to-date and adhere to each agency's recommendations.

You will see some changes when it is time for your next appointment. These changes have been made to protect our patients and our team members. For example: You are asked to remain in your car until it is time for your appointment. Please call when you reach our parking lot. We will let you know when you should come into the office. This is to prevent multiple people in the waiting room at one time. Our phone number is (859) 371-0183. Please wear a covering over your mouth when you enter the office. Your temperature will be taken. You will be asked general health screening questions. Prior to treatment, you will be given an oral rinse and asked to sanitize your hands. Appointments will be managed to allow for social distancing between patients. We will do our best to allow greater time between patients to reduce waiting times.

I am happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps I am taking to keep everyone who enters the facility safe. I value my patient relationships and welcome any dialogue. Thank you for your trust and loyalty to my practice. I look forward to seeing you again soon!
